Rapid immunochromatographic combo test detecting Anaplasma phagocytophilum/platys antibody and Ehrlichia canis antibody in whole blood, serum, or plasma. Anaplasmosis and ehrlichiosis are tick-borne diseases caused by obligate intracellular bacteria. Clinical symptoms include depression, lethargy, loss of appetite, weight loss, fever, mucosal pallor, lymph node lesions, hepatosplenomegaly, vomiting, uveitis, limb edema, and organ failure — more severe if co-infected with other blood parasites such as Babesia. Results in 5–10 minutes with no equipment required. Anaplasma: sensitivity 94.59%, specificity 98.98% vs. PCR. E. canis: sensitivity 93.55%, specificity 96.86% vs. PCR. Shelf life 24 months.
