Product Description
Rapid immunochromatographic test detecting Anaplasma phagocytophilum and Anaplasma platys antibodies in whole blood, serum, or plasma. Aids diagnosis of canine anaplasmosis, a tick-borne rickettsial infection that primarily infects neutrophils and platelets, destroying blood cells and causing vomiting, diarrhea, coughing, and shortness of breath. Results in 5–10 minutes with no equipment required. Sensitivity 94.59% and specificity 98.98% versus PCR. Shelf life 24 months. Note: prior infection may cause false positives; early-stage infection (insufficient antibody response) may cause false negatives.
