Product Description
Rapid immunochromatographic test detecting Candida albicans antigen in feces or oral swab. Candida albicans is a yeast causing opportunistic infections, especially in immunocompromised birds, leading to sour crop or crop infection with symptoms including lethargy, fluffed feathers, loss of appetite, and delayed crop emptying. Transmitted through adult birds feeding young, contaminated environment or water, and artificial feeding. Results in 5-10 minutes with no equipment required. Sensitivity 92.30% and specificity 98.61% versus other rapid test. Shelf life 24 months.
