Product Description
Rapid immunochromatographic test detecting canine distemper virus (CDV) antibodies in serum and plasma. CDV is a highly contagious disease in young and unvaccinated dogs, affecting the respiratory tract, gastrointestinal tract, and nervous system. Symptoms include fever, conjunctivitis, eye/nose discharge, dyspnea, cough, vomiting, and diarrhea — commonly with hyperkeratosis of the foot pads and nose, hence its nickname "hard pad disease." Severe cases can be fatal. Results in 5–10 minutes with no equipment required. Sensitivity 96.15% and specificity 97.8% versus ELISA. Shelf life 24 months.
