Product Description
Rapid immunochromatographic test detecting feline coronavirus (FCoV) antibodies in serum, plasma, pleural effusion, or ascites. FCoV is an RNA virus present in two biological forms — Feline Infectious Peritonitis Virus (FIPV) and Feline Enteric Coronavirus (FECV) — commonly found in cats, especially those raised in large groups; studies show 75–100% of farm cats and 25% of domestic cats test positive. Results in 5–10 minutes with no equipment required. Sensitivity 88.57% and specificity 94.23% versus Western blot. Shelf life 24 months.
