Product Description
Rapid immunochromatographic combo test detecting Feline Calicivirus (FCV) antigen and Feline Herpesvirus (FHV) antigen from ocular/nasal discharge. FCV and FHV are the two primary causes of upper respiratory tract disease in cats, especially kittens — without prompt treatment, infection can cause severe multi-organ damage or death in newborn kittens. Results in 5–10 minutes with no equipment required. FCV: sensitivity 98.51%, specificity 100% vs. RT-PCR. FHV: sensitivity 98.61%, specificity 100% vs. nested PCR. Shelf life 24 months.
